Only what keeps the Passport secure.

Version 1.0 • Effective 8 August 2026

No advertising or analytics cookies

Tynevolt Passport uses only essential cookies and similar technologies needed for secure access, sign-in, request routing and protection. We do not use cookies to advertise to you or track you across websites.

1. What is a cookie?

A cookie is a small piece of information stored by a website on your phone, tablet or computer. Similar technologies may perform the same function. Essential cookies can be used without consent when they are genuinely necessary to provide a service you request, but we still explain them here.

2. Customer Passport session

Cookie: __Host-tv_passport

Set only after the correct Passport link and PIN are entered. It keeps that Passport unlocked securely while you use it, contains a signed session reference rather than your contact details, and is protected with Secure, HttpOnly and SameSite=Strict settings.

Purpose: essential security and session management • Maximum life: 12 hours • Deleted when you use Lock

3. Tynevolt staff sign-in

When an approved team member chooses to sign in with ChatGPT, the authentication service uses essential security and sign-in technologies to identify the account, maintain the session and prevent misuse. These are used only on the staff access route and are controlled by the authentication service. Signing out ends the staff session in accordance with that service's settings.

4. Hosting and security technologies

Our hosting infrastructure may use short-lived, essential technologies for secure request routing, load balancing and abuse protection. Their names can change as security systems are updated. They are not used by Tynevolt for advertising or behavioural analytics.

5. Why there is no consent banner

We currently use no non-essential cookies, so there is nothing to accept or reject. If that changes, we will update this notice and ask for valid consent before any non-essential cookie is set.

6. Your browser controls

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking essential cookies will stop customer Passport sessions or staff sign-in from working correctly. You can use the Passport's Lock control to end a customer session immediately.

7. Contact and changes

Email info@tynevolt.co.uk with a cookie question. We will date material changes to this notice. For more about personal information, read our privacy notice.
